Why should you be unbanned?
I have no clue why I was banned to begin with. Apparently something happened back in 2018 when I was but a wee lad, because that's when my first ban happened, but I couldn't tell you what. The reason for the ban is, if I'm not mistaken, that I shared an IP address with a banned account. There were two other TF2 players in the same house as me at the time, so maybe something happened with them. Nothing weird on my end, though.
So if you wouldn't mind unbanning me it would be cool, radical, perhaps even groovalicious. I rest my case.
 
The "two" players conveniently had the same name as you.

We never unban cheaters.

The cheaters being the usernames in the link I sent? Those are both names my account have gone by. The reason for having been banned on both is that I shared an IP address with someone else who was banned. Like I said, I lived with other people who played the game and it's possible they did something, but I never personally cheated.

No, the two accounts that were originally banned for cheating had the same name as you.

The only account that was IP banned was your main one.

You can drop the act. We have people coming in here every day claiming that some one else hacked on their internet. This was clearly you, and we are not going to unban you.

Would you mind linking the ban, then? Because the only ones I can find and the only ones I linked are the ones where it says it was based on my IP.

And even if that account belonged to somebody in the household at the time, it doesn't mean it was mine. Like I said, two other people were playing TF2 at the time.

There's no way to prove this is not you. We are not going to unban you. If we did, everyone can make the same excuse.

So I, as just a normal TF2 player, am just shit out of luck? There's not a single thing I could do to show that I haven't cheated? Because if that's the case, why does this forum exist? I doubt anyone has absolute evidence like screen recordings of the moment they were banned.

Even though I do not believe you and every other person that blames their sister, brother, friend, cousin, or whatever person, there are legitimate ban appeals. You can go and look.

What could you actually prove? Your "room mates" banned account had the exact name of your account when it got banned.

You can blame your room mates all you want, but you are responsible.
