Hi!
My name is Jack Jackerson. I’m a 27-year-old IT professional. I’ve been playing TF2 since February 8, 2012, according to my mercenary badge. After a long break from PC gaming around 2015, I recently returned to it a little over a year ago. I previously played competitive Team Fortress 2 in the UGC league and have now rejoined competitive play in the RGL.GG league. Over the past year, I've almost exclusively played on Skial, a server I also frequented a decade ago.
During my time on Skial, I’ve built strong connections with the regulars on the Payload servers and formed close friendships with many of them. Skial stands out as a remarkable community where camaraderie and mutual respect are at the forefront. The friendly and welcoming atmosphere has made it a place where I not only enjoy the game but also cherish the friendships I’ve made. The community’s support and shared passion for the game have significantly enriched my experience, making Skial the server where I’ve had the most fun and created the most lasting memories.
In my professional life, I work in an environment where Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) are highly valued. I have embraced these principles both at work and in my personal life.
Additionally, I have significant experience managing a Team Fortress 2 server. I currently run a private server for competitive gameplay using a Linode VPS, Pterodactyl Game Panel, and Docker. I also have programming knowledge of SourcePawn, C++, and Python. As well as SFTP,FTP file transfers for uploading new maps and plugins.
I recognize that I’m not perfect and am continuously striving to improve myself.
