Approved TF2 Admin App: Caramel

As a LONGTIME player on both 2Fort and Turbine (as well as having bought the Stamps for both when they first came out), I personally would love to see Caramel as an Admin for various reasons. For starters, she's fair when it comes to settling differences in the voice and text chat. Second, she's friendly and helpful. Third, she's in there pretty often. That reason alone would help, because that would mean that an actual admin would be around on a regular basis, as there are a LOT of trolls who pop in and spam the Voice and Text chats. Sure, we can always use the Mute and Ignore features, but some of the trolls are able to bypass both, so having an actual admin to kick (and if need be - ban) them would be appreciated. I'm in both 2Fort and Turbine almost every night (I'm old and now retired), so I see and hear it all. Caramel definitely gets my +1 vote.

I'll +1 this admin request; I've been playing on the servers for just over a month and Caramel's one of the most chill people in the regular crowd - I'm pretty confident she would conduct herself accordingly, if given the power.

We could also do with an extra admin to undo all the joke mute votes that seem to be getting passed recently!

For more than a month i’ve been active on the server almost daily. Caramel has been one of my nicest friends at 2Fort. She’s so active there and brings support to all of us. She always makes sure that we are all well and at the same time enjoys the server, she has a good balance. She’ll be a great Admin :D

I believe that she would make a great admin for 2fort servers in general. She has been very active in the servers and makes a lot of reports, more that I can count. Which I am thankful for that because I have become less active on the servers, but she is there to make a report when something bad happens! She is also on the servers at night time, her becoming admin is beneficial as now the server won't be chaotic while I sleep in my cave. I sill admit, I did have my doubts before, but I see that she has improved a lot since then and it seems that she is heading in the right path to be a future admin. 🤗

Keep it up! you are getting a ton of good reports and you are a really friendly and positive member of the 2fort servers also you are pretty fun to play with too. I think you would make a great admin for those servers with how chaotic they are and you have proven that you understand the rules very well now. Most I can say is to maybe try to get active on the discord!

You do not have enough activity, supporters, or some other way to contribute to Skial overall. Reapply with a new thread if you feel this has changed significantly.

The app is already mark improve because of the reason above of page 1. There should be no reason to why we are continue to providing feedback in this app. I highly suggest to continue making more reports and improving your chat logs as well as following our server rules if you are willing to help out the community keeping this community a healthy place to play.

When you are ready, you can start a new app again in one month.

this amazing person is honestly someone i would like to be admin as they are hardworking, respectful, dedicated and overall well behaved and it would be great to have someone to manage the chaos since there isn't many admins to help out for every server.

Neither Caramel nor I have to stay in the server and fill out the report form. But Caramel reports problematic players without hesitation and tirelessly. It is a waste of time. When Caramel becomes an admin, we will get rid of problematic players quickly because we won't have to fill out the form and wait for an admin to take action. Caramel is a fair lady; she deserves the role, and the server needs an active admin. I'm tired of filling out reports, dealing with mic spammers, cheaters, and the rest of the issues.

That's why Caramel should be an admin.

here are my answers:

1. in my honest opinion putting a sentry in a common spot for snipers is not harmful as long as its not in their direct way, i do not see this situation as a harmful way to their teammates.
there would need to be a clear demo or video showing that the player is specifically doing this on purpose in front of their teammates such as moving the sentry to whichever spot the teammates are specifically or in front of them at then it would be considered as griefing and trolling.


2. as known, trash talk and insults are very common in the server and there are no rules to that even outside of the server as it is outside of the mods hands as the player can either mute the harasser in game using the mute and ignore commands or by just blocking their steam account and discord account as its better to have players handle such situation their own way.

however there is a limit to these such things even if it is outside of the server depending on the amount of mutes and bans this person has, id issue a one month mute sm_ban "#[U:1:116254940]" 43800 "racism/harassment" if its their first offense to reflect on their mistakes.
if the player has repeating record of harassment and racism then a permanent ban should be issued, that is only after multiple warnings of course sm_ban "#[U:1:116254940]" 0 "racism/harassment"
