Hi everyone. For those who don’t know me, I'm Aussie.

I have been mainly playing on the deathrun servers for awhile now and I focus on helping other people whenever they need and make a positive experience for everyone. I am mainly online in Skial servers between 6pm - 12am in my timezone, however I am willing to help handle reports outside of those hours anytime I’m available. I may not be the best at it but I can assure that I will always improve over time and make more friends along the way. Even though my application gets declined, I will continue to improve myself and give it another go in the future.

You seem like a good chap and I've seen you online quite frequently, plus an Australian-based admin would be most helpful. Best of luck +1

During his trial mod/admin period Aussie:
- threatened to ban me over picking a minigame he didn't like, after I got to the end first (said it was too many times in a row, even though there is no such rule)
- threatened to ban me over saying "hi" 3 times in chat when I joined and was excited and in a jovial mood, accused me of spamming. Ruined the mood completely.
- threatened to punish me for typing "!ban aussie" in chat, an obvious joke
- follows me around and dislikes all my posts to spite me.

I've never had a pleasant interaction with Aussie, only negative interactions. I believe he's not fit to be a staff member.
If given such power, I believe he's very likely to abuse it, and be the reason many players leave the server. Never had any issue with any other staff members.
Among all the players I've played with and know on skial, I cannot think of anyone who I think is qualified less to be a staff member than Aussie.

Not everyone is going to agree with me on this, but I think removing the troll/dumb icons was a positive experience for the forums. In the past, there were people on the forums that would stalk people's forum accounts, and even steam accounts and harass them over multiple platforms.

Why do the majority of your posts in the past few months have multiple thumbs down? (Serious question). Is it just Aussie disliking your post to spite you, or is it your posts have som issue with them, or both or neither?

I did go through your posts, and see 7 dislikes from Aussie since June 17th, which is a lot, but there's context here missing, and doesn't mean there's an actual issue, just because you've framed it this way. If you could provide more info, please do.

Personally, I think the people that go around downvoting specific people's posts cause substantial harm to the community, however I've seen Aussie's work as a mod, and it's been pretty solid. More info from both / context please.

The reason why Aussie downvotes icos post is because he doesnt like icos suggestion and than when Aussie make a suggestion to add a map we wanted and then icos goes in that suggestion and disliking his post and they both been disliking each other post since icos and Aussie making suggestion very long time ago

I mean it been happening since 2 months

I mean some people dont like him how the way he is, but people targets Aussie because he always lies about freerun everytime and they dont like him for example this 1 person reported him for being toxic and he did nothing wrong

I cannot ignore this any further, so I'll reply to this now:

- Yes, I am aware that minigame spam isn't bannable, and I was told about it. But I was just encouraging people to try and pick a different minigame just by saying "Can we pick a different minigame?" That is not threatening that is encouraging players to try and pick a different minigame. There is a huge difference between it.

- You shouldn't be constantly spamming in chat in the first place, especially during map votes. I always ask people to try and not chat spam. I do not understand why this is a huge issue to you especially that it has always been a rule.

- I never threatened to punish you because of it. You missed out a key part where you decided to slander me as a mod just because I told people to try and not break the rules.

- I haven't, you have been constantly spamming dislikes to not just my own posts but also other people's posts that you do not agree to. You tend to take it too far by mass spamming dislikes to my posts, especially on older posts and have a problem with everything what I say.

Despite everything what I have said, I do think you need to get help, especially the fact that you decided to not only post about it in forums but also on the discord server back then.

You are misremembering the situation to make yourself look better about what happened. You did not just say "Can we pick a different minigame?". I remember very well you threatening to use your admin/mod privileges to punish players for choosing the minigame you didn't like. It was a threat, not a suggestion. I've talked to at least one admin about this situation, and they might be able to corroborate what happened. Also I could provide dates so staff with access could look at logs if they need to. What you're saying simply isn't true.

Everyone who's seen me play (except you apparently) can attest that I don't constantly spam in chat. I said hi 3 times in chat. It's a bit excessive, but I was just being excited and friendly. And it never should have been an issue in the first place. The point is that you've made it into a huge issue by using the admin alert command to issue a warning to me to stop spamming. It's evidence that you tend to take things out of proportion, overreact and make the experience worse for other players when given power. Also I'm not sure why you're bringing up a map vote, the situation in question had nothing to do with a map vote.

I think we'll let the record speak for that. I think staff members are able to check logs and will see who started aggressively disliking whose posts. I admit I didn't behave in an exemplary way as well, because being frustrated with your stream dislikes of my posts, I was encouraged to dislike more of your posts I disagree with, than I typically would for other players. The difference however is that I'm not applying to be an admin and you are. And your pattern of behavior speaks to your character and your compatibility to be an admin.
I do think you need to get help,
Very rude and inappropriate reaction to criticism by a person you don't even know personally. I'm glad you said that, however, because I think it demonstrates my point regarding whether a person who interacts with players as you do should be made admin.

- I never said to not pick that minigame just because I never liked it, although yes its not a specific rule, we have had this conversation with another admin about it to take things chills with it. It doesn't look like your getting over it despite having a conversation with an admin about it.

- You're not the only one who has constantly spammed. There are other people who have done it before and have been warned by me. As I said earlier, this has been a rule. I brought up the map vote thing as an example of the situation.

- Yes, I understand that disliking your posts over and over again isn't the right thing. However, the fact that you also decided to dislike posts from like few months ago is a bit strange coming from you.

- If you actually read the last part, you can see that you also posted stuff like this on the discord server as well.

@icos - Most players never receive a mute or gag, and among those who do, most receive only one or two. Full server bans are substantially less common. Your combined history of many communication blocks and many bans is very rare.

This history does not automatically make every allegation you raise false. However, it is directly relevant here because your criticism of Aussie concerns their judgment when enforcing server rules. You have repeatedly been actioned for rule violations by multiple admins over years and by server votes, including for spam, harassment, racism, inappropriate language, griefing, and disconnecting as Hale.

Because of that, it’s difficult to take your account of these incidents at face value, especially your claim that you’ve “never had any issue with any other staff members.” Given your history, it’s hard to believe your problems with rule enforcement begin and end with Aussie, and it makes it harder to believe that your conflict with them is primarily because of their moderation style.

I appreciate the attempt to distract from what I said an to discredit me.
The thing is, for a lot of things I've already brought up regarding Aussie's suitability to be an admin, you don't need to trust me or believe my allegations (even though you could verify them if you wanted), they're confirmed by the thread alone and Aussie's responses.

1. Aussie in this thread changed his story regarding what happened with the minigame. First said
But I was just encouraging people to try and pick a different minigame just by saying "Can we pick a different minigame?"
Then changed to
- I never said to not pick that minigame just because I never liked it, although yes its not a specific rule,
(bringing up unwritten rule that reds should not pick the same minigame repeatedly)

2. Aussie effectively admitted to mass downvoting my posts here:
Yes, I understand that disliking your posts over and over again isn't the right thing. However, the fact that you also decided to dislike posts from like few months ago is a bit strange coming from you.

3. Aussie said
Despite everything what I have said, I do think you need to get help
This is a remark that he didn't address, and it's a very rude and inappropriate thing to say in response to criticism. This remark alone should in my opinion disqualify his admin application.
