Today me and my friends got in an discussion about SOPA, PIPA and ACTA.
We went on from that, to Anonymous and all that.
Eventually i told them about the "Deep Web", Silk Road, TOR and onion. websites.
They said that they didn't know ANYTHING about these things; i seriously thought that they would.

Does your friends know about these things? Or is it just me that's not "normal" (if you could call anyone on the internet that)?

I knew about none of these things until today. And I consider myself to be very web savvy. I think the problem is that everyone uses the internet in different faculties and most people's don't involve the kind of illegal or quasi-legal services that you've made mention to.

I mean I thought TOR was The Old Republic MMO and Onion was a bunch of Daily Show wannabes.
