Scarcely Lethal Noob
The teletrap detector that destorys teleporter exits is way over senstive. It seems if somone from you team stands next to the teleporter for more then 30 seconds it destorys them regardless if they can move or not. Please fix this soon because at certain times it's just not worth it to build teleporters.

I'm having the same problem, only that I don't think it has anything to do with people standing close to it, in my case. It's just random to me. :\

Our anti-teletrap plugin is added recently and thus there are still some bugs. We appreciate your feedback on issues with the plugin so we can resolve those bugs.

i have yet to see any kind of auto destruct for such events, then again i had no idea this was introduced into the servers. regardless, +1 if there are issues

I do notice that from time to time there are issues with it randomly destroying the teleporter. Usually its not a big deal, because you can just build another one, but it can be inconvenient, especially if you weren't near where the exit was.

If you notice it doing that try to remember what caused it and post it somewhere. Can't fix something if we don't know it's an issue.

It happens more frequently if you place directly next to walls i think. That's what I've experienced anyways.

my idea of fixing it is having the plugin force the teleported player to take a step or two forward and see if said player actually moved

I'm not sure if it would be a viable route to take, but what about allowing players to opt out of it or give them some way to control it better? Pop up a message asking them to confirm or something?

I had no idea this was why my tele exits sometimes blew up. I chocked it up to another Valve bug.
This happens a lot in the attic at 3rd point on Badwater. That little stairwell with the flat spot that is used for tele's all the time has issues.
If it's too far back near the wall it blows up, or if you place it on the stairs too.

No because if griefers are using it (the main reason for the plugin) they can say no and continue to screw with other people.

I made it. There's no evidence of widespread problems.

Let me see if I can get a demo of this happening. I know you probably don't want to explain its decision-making process, but it would help. Do you ever work on projects like this with others?
