They're both still on right now. You can notice Sentry Gun even turning his back to the corner a little, a terrible idea if a spy were to walk around it unless you knew where enemies were. Sentry Gun also seems to be aiming at people through the wall then sticking out and shooting a rocket or flare at them, especially when he spawns and walks onto the battlements. And Soul does the same thing when he's demoknighting around corners and whatnot, a few times in the sewer with a sniper. Sometimes it even seems like he was going after completely cloaked spies in his intel room, but I'm not sure. It seems like they're both trying not to look at the person they're watching through walls, but keeping them in the corner of their screen. Might even be more in there, but I didn't really pay that much attention.
 
I didn't get killed by you, I wasn't even playing during that session. I was spectating for a bit while I had a headache and took a couple advil. Originally, I was just skipping through players when I noticed Sentry Gun aiming through walls on his battlements, then I noticed you acting weird later. I didn't see either of you type !3 at all.
 
A lot of us play in thirdperson and use it to be able to see whos coming around a wall. This is a feature of the thirdperson option. It is NOT wall hacking.
 
Oh and also, you can type /3 and no one else will see it. I personally know that Sentry Gun does just that. He does it with all the commands. I can't speak for Soul but I do know he plays in third person frequently.
 
Hello! I just found this thread by searching for my name earlier when I discovered I was banned. I've had a chance to research this a bit after I got home from work a while ago and have some thoughts I would like to share. First, here is the requested information from the unban request instructions:

I watched the first half of the first demo posted, and I have to admit that it looks pretty damning at first sight. While I can't vouch for Soul as I only know him from seeing him on the server the other night (I assume the same night we both got banned), I can say that I have been playing this game in third person view (the server logs should corroborate this after I logged on) which I believe may be the cause of this accusation. As Bixxith pointed out above, playing in third person gives me a much wider viewing angle, which is especially helpful when going around corners. I assumed using this feature was not against the rules as it appears to be patched into the game on skial's servers. If this is not the case, please let me know and I will cease doing so.

As someone who has logged over 205 hours on skial servers and donated money to help support their continued operation, I am concerned with Spik3d's motives for making this accusation. To my knowledge, I have no previous accusations against me since I have started frequenting these servers and it seems odd to me that this accusation came just a day after Spik3d's three day ban for racism expired and he was allowed back on the server. I make it no secret that we haven't gotten along in the past. I do not approve of the way he treats new/inexperienced players on the server by ridiculing them in chat, and I try my best to stand up to him and make him feel uncomfortable when he starts acting like a bully. If I had to speculate, I would guess he holds me responsible for his ban (though I was not involved) and wants to exact retribution on me by getting me banned as well. I've attempted to be the better man and not call him out recently, and it saddens me that he appears to have gone to all of this trouble just to try and smear my name. If you need any more information, I will try to check back later. Thank you for your time.

If only all ban appeals could be like this. Thanks for being civil about it and sorry for the inconvenience. I checked up on Spik3d too, and it looks like the n-bombs were flying as soon as his ban expired. New ban: http://www.skial.com/sourcebans/ind...rch=STEAM_0:1:10691269&advType=steamid&Submit. He won't be abusing anyone else in the near future.

I don't like you, Sentry, because you ruin scrambles just to oppose me because of your personal vendetta against me for whatever reason you gave.

This had nothing to do with me not liking you, I genuinely thought you were walling. It seems very odd that you follow targets through a wall with your crosshair, even with 3rd person on. You don't need to follow targets just to see around a corner with 3rd person. And I thought your aiming was too good at long distances with the flare gun. Because the crosshair isn't at a consistent distance from where shots land in 3rd person, it changes with distance.
