New Suggestion: delete posts

Yeah, was trying to delete an embarrassing post then it hit me that you can’t delete them… so maybe having an option to delete posts would be good for forums!

I think if you ask an admin, they might be able to delete it, but I could be wrong

Would be better than changing a message, in this case a suggestion, completely. I downvoted the original version.

Good suggestion and it should be technically possible (hopefully). A lot of good suggestions recently have been great in theory, but probably impossible to implement. I’m hoping this one is possible.

My actual reasoning is very simple. These posts can be written as fucking essays, you have no time pressure, and all the time in the world to consider what you want to say/not say. After the fact, while you cannot delete them, you CAN edit them. I feel like it reflects poorly on YOU if you post something stupid here. To be frank, if you do, I prefer to know about it.
