Lately I've been getting really high ping in the games I play. In TF2 I'll get about 250+ ping in servers I've normally gotten 70 ping in, and in some other games I'm getting as high as 800+ ping.

Nothing is being downloaded in the background, restarting my modem helped but 20 minutes after it went back to lag city. I tried restarting it several other times afterwards with no results.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

  • Make sure no one is using your internet.
  • Run a network scan via your antivirus software.
  • Call your ISP.
