Yes I know it's pretty old, but I thought it was quite interesting. Considering the number of "Halp me building a pc" threads, this might be worth a look.

I love testing out old PC hardware to push them to the limit as to how far the machines can game with Linux.

There's also a bunch of Die-hard Windows 98 fans that still use Windows 98. Relevant? Maybe, since a sub 200$ pc can run it with the right tweaks.
