Problem solved. Steam Won't log in

TF2 froze and i had to do a reboot as i couldn't close it. Now steam says it cannot connect and asks for the password, and each time says i don't have an internet connection. But i do.

I can log onto servers and play, but it boots me off after a few minutes saying "Cannot connect to Valve Cheat Server".

Suggestions?

I think it might have corrupted my steam files.
