Steam Web Browser

I am having a issue with the steam web browser, ever time I start it it just starts flashing like crazy. In which I mean the steam community goes on and off my screen. That only happens when I pull up my browser anything else seems fine. Wondering if anyone has this issue before and came across a fix

Have you tried restarting steam and see if that worked? Usually problems like that are temporary

Yeah that happens a lot.

Half the time steam overlay crashes altogether.
Real shame because I don't have a whole lot of choices when the game I'm playing doesn't like alt tabbing.
