If you go to your steam window and account details, you might just see someone elses account information. I got at least 3 people on my friends list saying the same thing too. Not to mention people on Twitter.

It was a server issue, not hackers. Valve took the steam store down. Happened to me a few times, ended up on a Russian profile then a Spanish one.

The so claimed "hackers" are only trying to take credit for this issue, I don't believe they actually pulled this one off.

It is 99% just a cache problem most likely due to so many users using Steam at once.
