Hey, so I've started working on a new Gamemode for Gmod. its involves the use of the TF2 heavy's boxing fists to settle ALL of your bets/problems :p As of initial development, the mode has this functionality:

• Player Spawns with heavy gloves as its only weapon of choice
• heavy gloves have left/right swings with combo punches.
• when player joins, the chatbox shows a "Ready to RUUMBLE!!" sort of thing.
• when an Admin joins, shows a similar string of text.
• all default gmod controls are included.

UPDATES:
v.1:

• bare bones stuff added

v.2: new HUD, added basic game logic (respawning, spectate, etc.)

v.4 added round system and a time remaining counter. also added free-for-all with no respawning.
v.5 added another map, and some tweaks.

here is some functionality that i would like to have eventually:

• disable the "Q" menu for players
• betting
• scoreboard
• highscores
• custom HUD
• new map
• buy different hand skins with money won from betting, etc.

I would love for feedback from everyone. I also allow gamemode/mod requests in this thread. any help would be appreciated. If you would like to have the files needed to play this gamemode, I will release a link soon (when I feel it is ready for public use, and fun!).
This project is sort of a for-fun type deal, not really as a serious thing. I will post updates when I complete them.

added a HUD, very minimalist, only shows basic health and the time on the computer.

I actually like this idea. I can direct Steak here, he runs the G-Mod server for Skial regulars, so I maybe you and him and talk about this and see if it can be added to his server, if there isn't anything like that already.

YAY v.4 is out, with the map, and i added a round system, with a Free-For-All style gameplay. no respawning. and the scoreboard works!! http://www.mediafire.com/?7nle4qeh5daf132 here it is, id like to say its the first USABLE and FUN version.
