1. and? people from all over the world come to this website, and it's just americans that call football soccer. very irrelevant argument to make.
2. so all the whilst you've been wading through different cultures and countries, you still confuse football with soccer?

i'm up for starting up a sub-forum just for the sake whether american football should just be renamed handegg for future convenience. even though that would be a little overkill (just like a sports forum).

Anyhow, I respect thoughtful opinions from other people (hear me, Classy? :D), even though I still don't understand how "Little Pony" topic could be so important that it got a sub-forum dedicated to it. Getting old, I guess.

Oh, FYI, the location of a host is irrelevant. People will connect from wherever they want. Your American pride is as foolish as it is young and irrelevant.

If I had confused football with soccer, I'd have mentioned either "football" or "soccer". However, I mentioned both since as you fairly noted in your bullet #1 there are a lot of Americans on this forum, and trying to stay respectful to their traditions and names, I used it in this manner. Makes sense?
I personally call rugby what Americans call football.

Please read my response to pr1mus. It has nothing to do with pride. It has, however, a lot to do with respect to American community and people who call "rugby" a "football", and "football" a "soccer".
