Somewhat Threatening Sniper
Hi,

For the past week or so, out of nowhere, my game has been giving me really bad lag spikes, and its ruining gameplay for me. It happens on more than just one server, and I'm not sure how to fix it. I did some looking around online and found ~ commands, none of which seemed to help me solve it. I saw on a Steam forums post that it could be a crappy ISP, however I only have problems in TF2. Net_graph 4 shows that I'm getting choke. The choke is almost never at 0, it is always between 1 and 100. Once it gets between 30-50 I get a total lag spike, and the game stops for about 5 to 10 seconds, resets back to -0, repeat.

I have tried changing my rate, cl_updaterate, cl_interpolate, cl_cmdrate, cl_interp, and to be honest, I have found so many different settings with those commands online that I don't even know what my game is set to anymore.

I tried deleting my tf folder and verifying integrity, didn't help, tried deleting TF2 and reinstalling it, didn't help.

I'm just completely at a loss and I don't know what else I could try.

If its necessary, here are my specs (I never had issues running TF2):
Intel i5-2300 @ 2.8GHz
8 GB of RAM,
PNY Nvidia GT545
Windows 7
On LAN

I'm using PVhud, but I doubt that has anything to do with it.

Any suggestions would be great
Thanks in advance
