Epic Skial Regular
this is mainly just me wondering why you did it. I've been in an admin position myself on a few games, and it's largely a thankless job.

what drives you?

also, I'm probably going to get any comments that are offensive or are largely not contributing to the conversation itself deleted by a friendly mod.

This is so that chumps who are trying to apply can see the real purpose of moderation and administration. it just isn't a title for the sake of having a title or a sliver of power, it's pretty much an unpaying job in most gaming communities that you do because you want to see things run smoothly.

I posted someone's personal information and got made an admin.

I am also the reason behind the "don't post personal information" rule.

clearly, you were trying to expose a SERIOUS FLAW in the rules at present

Applied because Turbine needed an admin, than after a while I took a break from TF2 and my computer with the internets.
Than it got taken away than I started playing again

:p :p :p :p :p

I applied a year ago because I knew a shitstorm would ensue. Oh, that was so fun. Might consider applying again once everyone, including the Whining Williams, has begun worshiping me. The day will come, guys.

I think that this question should replace the will you get mad question in apps
Why do you want to become an admin?

not to stroke my own ego but I was going to suggest that. I typed it up in the suggestions section and then I was like

"people are going to think this is retarded. most people are probably going to answer in a way that they think others want them to answer anyway."

Thanks to TeamSpeak, I am actually going to address this with a greater degree of information.

It's hugely thankless. In fact, I have never been called a figgernaggot so much in my life until today, and I went to the worst public school in the city.
what drives you?
Well, it's not really so much that drives me, but what else is there to do? I enjoy collecting obscure items (hey, baby, wanna see my hat collection? This has worked before). My family is either dead or missing, I have a computer I built for multitasking, and plenty of free time because I have no other responsibility. Computer shit is interesting to me. Skial has given me the opportunity to help others. We went from 15 members to around 160,000, and I was there to watch it grow.

You deleted one yourself! Should quote me next time.

I probably put in more time into Skial than I do into work. I even get texts/emails/notifications about "what to do" involving Skial events. If there's shit going on, odds are I'm fixing it in some capacity. We have a conversation going on currently where no one can agree on how to stop micspam on Hale, yet 99% of you will never see it.

If you think being an admin in this community is fun, enjoyable, and easy, you are so fucking wrong it's not even funny.

haha, I deleted my post because someone ninja posted and my post made no sense, so I had to go back and quote you(Roman) so it did

edit:

I just explained myself needlessly

I became admin to ban people for dominating me

I wanted to become an admin because, at the time, there was a large hole in the server coverage and there were plenty of times that stuff was going down and nobody was around to take care of it.

So I campaigned:

And I won.

I think you would make a better congressman than every other candidate
