I set the date to create partners at 11pm eastern on the dot. A previous post of mine here explains this procedure.

Hey guys, I'm sorry for the short notice, but I will have to cancel the check I planned to make on Friday December 13th.
Please note that the deadline is still on Wednesday December 18th and no other checks are cancelled.

Hey guys, you know what day is it?
Wednesday December 18! Which means that today is the date that gifts are due. Unfortunately, not everyone has submitted on time, so I am unable to start giving out the gifts, as it is unfair to those who can't get their gifts.
Now I can't harass or force people into giving their gifts, what I can do is remove people who do not submit their gifts. Who are those people? Well you can see them *Here!* I made the due date early because of the inevitable fact that people will wait until the last minute or even after.
I am sorry for those who followed my directions and are awaiting to receive their presents. This post will serve as a warning and a notice to all those who have yet to submit a gift to me both publically and in PM. Friday December 20th is the last time you can submit your gift to me, any trade occurring after that date can be rejected and you will be removed.
I understand that I am sometimes unavailable and Trade offer is unavailable due to my private Inventory for the event, so you to those of you who have those issues, I will PM you an account in which you will add and trade offer. Note, the account WILL NEVER add you and any account that does is not the account you should be giving it to.
Gifting will occur starting Saturday December 21st.

That's right, it's time for you all to spam me with trade requests to see what gifts you got.
As you all should be aware, I have taken and shown you screenshots of your gifts and sent them to you, upon request I will send the screenshot of the items you were due to receive with the name of the gifter badly editted to be hidden.
I have also created a thread *here* for you guys to show off your gifts or post what gifts you gave. As always it is up to your discretion whether or not you want to show what you received or what you gave.
I just want to thank you guys one last time for all participating and being so cooperative with me. I did not imagine for this to get 41 participants, its an all new record for Skial Secret Santa and it was a pleasure to be a part of it. You have all been great sports and even greater gifters. I truly hope that all of you enjoy your gifts, the holidays and more importantly your Winter Break!
It truly was a pleasure organizing/participating in this.
I will also drop some suggestions for any future host of ways he can improve this event from my point of view.

- Send out trade offers to everyone so even if your inventory is private they can still offer their items
- Make a separate PM for ALL participants so you do not need to copy/paste the same message X amount of times
- Try to be available more often
- Have free time

I know it's a necro but I forgot about this for partly the fact that I didn't come back onto skial for a while if there is a way for me to still give a gift since I forgot that'll be great.

Just wow. Do you really think Dan's gonna bother to middleman something that's been over for two months, especially when he left out people that were a couple of days late?
Why would anyone plan 10 months in advance for a secret santa? That's some serious overkill.
