Since we've got a lot of snipers coming from KSG and a lot of regular Skial snipers (what's up, Zebra) I think there will be an elevated interest in snipers' dedicated 2fort server.

Is there any chance Skial could get one of those? Like 24 slot sniperfort server with capping disabled? Or would it be just a waste of hardware resources?

Dunno, does this have a big following? I know KSG had one, but it feels like it might crash after a month or so after it gets added to the servers.

It was pretty populated there, and even when KSG had been switching IPs back and forth server was still getting decent population.
 
Sniperfort somewhat died towards the end of Kill-Streak's "Reign", and the majority of the Sniperfort players will stay with KSG, I won't guarantee the popularity of the Sniperfort and how long it will be filled
 
It did see a fair share of activity, but we had to spam events for it honestly - it was a devoted group of regulars keeping it alive. I'm not sure it's wise to do a server like that for Skial. It just isn't active up to Bott's standards imo.
 
I'm for anything that fills a server, but between what Hammer said, likely not being on quickplay, and its niche somewhat being filled with cp_orange, I'm really doubtful it would be populated.
 
I'm giving this a +1 for now. SniperFort sounds interesting, and would be nice to have as a fuck-around server. Maybe we could replace one of the like eight Dustbowl servers that we have that don't ever fill.
 
If it fills that'd be nice, but from what others stated I really doubt this will fill and stay populated in the long run

I'm gonna go with a -1 unless people here genuinely believe it will fill

Other sniperfort servers aren't that popular... they have their moments on weekends but that's pretty much it.

And Skial won't be spamming events or giving away unusuals to keep it populated.

Surf is empty, Valve Maps LA is empty, Upward TX is empty, KOTH TX is empty, Payload LA is empty, Process TX is empty, Standin EU is empty, and KOTH LA is empty.

And this is about 1 P.M. est on a Saturday. Most people's work weeks end on Friday, so you can't use the "Oh, everyone's at work." excuse.
