What is sharking:
Sharking is when an experienced player, called a shark, finds a new player with a rare item, he trades them and offers them a weapon for an unusual hat or a rarer item.

How to not fall for sharking:
1. Don't accept random trades
2. Use the spreadsheet, and find the value of the item before you trade it
3. Ask a respected member for a pricecheck, or go to a reliable website

If you find a shark:
Report him/her, they can get banned from most TF2 trading communities, so they can't shark anymore.

If you're going to market something to complete utter newbies, at least make it accurate, yeah? How about telling them to price-check their unusuals by a reliable player or a reliable site?
 
First day of tf2... Two name tags and a desc tag for a scout halloween shirt....

2. Spreadsheet, Not because it's always accurate but because many people relay on it by trading.
3. There are a lot of unusual's that are under a bud , variating between a bill and a bud, Depending on hat and effect

A good amount of Unusuals are not worth 1 bud. A surprising amount are worth less than that. from 8-16 keys to the 18-22 keys ranges. Really. Do you work before trying to help otherwise it's not taken seriously.
