Selling Duped Unusuals?

Just wanted to know whether or not selling duped unusuals here would be an offense of any sort. Feel that if you are selling any unusuals, you should notify buyers that the unusual is duped without them asking.

If it's not, was there a discussion regarding this at any point?
 
As long as your not advertising a duped item as a non-dupe or tell them it isn't duped when they ask you its okay. You don't have to say it.
 
I think its only an offense if you say they're unduped when they actually are.
Otherwise, I think its up to the buyer to ask, check for himself, or to ask Faron if they are.

I remember reading somewhere that they are cheaper because they were duped due to Steam Support. They are cheaper because Steam Support is rumored to take away the dupes without notice.

Just don't enjoy seeing people offering their duped unusuals for the same price as any other identical unusual.

steam support dupes will never be deleted. Its the user-duped ones that might.

Oh no, it's cause of Faron that I learned how to find out if they are duped or not, just have a horrible gut feeling when I see someone trying to sell someone their duped for regular price.

It depends on the seller if they wan to reduce the price because of a dupe. For example, http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/1337098, is a steam support granted scorching CM, but there is only that one (2, but dupes). It doesn't really reduce the price.

Sorry for the late reply, was off for a while. Don't understand the bolded part, at all.

Edit: I now understand that they are two copies of the hat, from what I read, you contradicted yourself. There is only one hat, but it's a duped hat?

A guy unboxed it. There is only one. His account gets hijacked, he e-mails valve, they replace the hat. Duped, 2 hats, but techincally the same.

Then again, aren't all Steam Support duped unusuals technically the same?

what I mean by technically the same is the same hat, just like in 2. They are all the same, but as I said before, its up the the owner whether to discount. That CM, there is only 1, so it doesn't really matter as much.
