Looking for a free screenrecorder that will work on windows 8 64bit. Don't say fraps im looking for other ones. Your help is appreciated!

I think ffmpeg can record the screen, but it's an advanced command line tool. You could also try Windows Media Encoder 9.

They both require purchases to unlock them to 'premium', or whatever to remove the watermark they both have on the demos

I say Bandicam is better in my opinion. The GUI is more user-friendly, and more options I think. I tried out the demo, probably would've end up buying it if my friend didn't get my FRAPS for my birthday. :)
