I'm looking for some new horror games that aren't Amnesia.

Anyone have anything legitimately frightening that's worth a look?

Almost everything on Resident Evil scared me, from the cerberus, to The Tyrant stabbing Wesker near the end. (although I was 9 when I started playing it)

Doom 3 is not scary, Doom 3 attempts to be scary by having monsters spawn behind you all the goddamn time, but it's not scary.

Ever.

F.E.A.R is the scariest game ever. I literally almost shit myself couple of times while playing it, especially when Alma was trying to grab my neck.

before I grew a Penis the game (or part of a game) that scared me most was Metroid Prime 2's Dark world. The general Atmosphere and the creatures you find there really creeped me out.

I did FEAR 2, I think it was. Whatever was the prequel. Was meh.

Dead Space 2 wasn't bad. You really have to be on a higher difficulty for there to be a scary factor. Near the end there are immortal enemies. You can only stop them by getting their limbs, and then they lie on the ground for just a few seconds, grow them back, and get back up. Running around with no ammo was freaky shit. End levels, I was like, "Okay, 14 flamethrower ammo, 2 plasma cutter, 8 pulse rifle shots. LESDODES." Walked into a room full of dudes, spammed stasis on the ground while screaming like a girl and ran to the next door. Was awesome.

Horror isn't my thing. I just don't enjoy it. Also I like to sleep well :3

I always sleep friggin' awesome. Unless it's forced sleep from passing out from drinking. Holy tits, the most vivid dreams I have ever had.

And horror is awesome, pussay.

I've only played the first Deadspace. I loved how it's atmosphere and art style was so similar to the "Alien" franchise lovingly sprinkled with elements of "The Thing." But the game lost it's scariness and turned into more of a action game once you became better equipped. Though I did get very creeped out latter in the game as well. Just not all that scared.

I played 1 on SeXbox before, when they put it on dig download, I think. It was scary-ish, but 2 had, like, EVERY conflict type in it. Man vs nature, man vs man, man vs self - the latter definitely being the best part of the game, in my opinion.

I really suggest you get Dead island maybe isnt as scary at first but i love the game just got it yesterday
