Video Rocket jump 180, how?

I'm just asking
How do I do the rocketjump 180 turn? I have tried it and i have failed multiple times, Still I practice and do my best but I can't seem to market garden someone with the 180 turn. Any tips or guides?

Air strafing. Basically, you rocket jump and let go of W. You either hold A or D(depending on which direction you want to strafe to) and TURN that way as well. That is the gist but other people who are better at rocket jumping can explain more in depth

If you want to practice rocket jumping in general my advice is that you make your own server (any map will work though I personally recommend large, open ones like badwater and badlands that promote rocket jumping) then type sv_cheats 1 and sv_gravity 200 in console to lower your gravity. This will make getting the hang of airstrafing much easier. Then when you feel comfortable enough type sv_gravity 800 to set it back to default and keep practicing. Also type impulse 101 at anytime into console to instantly heal yourself and refill ammo because you will go through both very quickly.

Go play around on some jump servers to get a feel for how rocket jumping works. :fyeah:
