You know how many genuine codes for this hat came out during the Pyromania update? The price fell from three keys to one ref in a day, because there was so many, and obtaining extras was extremely easy.

The fact that they are selling it for eight dollars is just Valve. Yes, some people will actually buy it, but if someone actually wants the hat that bad, they'll find a person who still has the code.
