Help Me! rip my ram?

i have 4 gigs of ram total one of my sticks suddenly isnt actually being used but its detected by the computer?pls help

Could be rip your ram. The same thing happened to me and I had to replace it, I might be wrong but I think you might need to replace it.

If nothing else works and cleaning it free of dust doesn't help at all, then yeah you'll probably have to replace it.
