riddles thread

(This one may be a bit bad, seeing as it's my own)

Max and Jim are on the roof of a 40-storey building. They're next to each other, and both jump in the same direction. Max survives the jump, yet Jim is killed when he hits the ground. How did Max survive?

one jumps off the roof and one just takes a small hop

Is it something to do with Max being taller/jumping further?
 
I've got to go now, so I'll leave a spoiler behind. Let me know what you thought of it

Max is a bird- he jumped off and flew away while Jim was a human and plummeted to the ground

Is it something obvious like Max lands in a bouncy castle or something? Cause I'm thinking where it says Jim is killed when he hits the ground seems like the other one doesn't hit the ground

this isnt really a riddle just something i found pretty cool:

if you were to randomly pick an answer to this question, what is the probability you will get it correct:
A 25%
B 50%
C 75%
D 25%

Every answer is wrong. If you pick A then D is also correct meaning that there's a 50% chance to be correct which makes A wrong and B right, but if you pick B, then A or D is right but you can't pick those because if you do then they're the wrong answer and the same thing goes for C.

It's a trick question. You could answer from the list, you could answer "yes", or you could answer with a picture of Rick Astley and it would be correct so long as you picked at random. The only criteria is that you randomly picked something. As long you picked at random you got it correct. The problem is, you probably picked from the list, which meant you didn't pick at random. So you got it wrong.
