Full description:
The mentioned players were attempting to prevent progress of the other runners, where by using a minigun they are able to shoot the boulders outside of their expected path. As a result of this, they do not hit the trigger that causes them to break, and also creates a pile up that is impossible to pass if too many are in the way.
This apparently happened the round before that as well, but I was in the secret room, so I don't know if the demo managed to capture that.
