There is no rationale for reducing the limit to 2, no one requested about changing the limit. In addition, having the limit at 2 easily allows for a pair to grief the server by occupying the engie spaces and then doing nothing, while at a limit of 4 it is significantly more difficult to do this.

I believe the limit is 3. And anyone with donator has access to any class anytime, whether capped or not.

The rationale is not to make for sentry-base slow type gameplay for both survivors and the hale. Not to mention we have Vagineer and Bunny in our rotation, both of them have less knock back resistance and 3 sentries alone can send him flying.

Are you talking about versus saxton hale or Freak fortress? They're two different game modes

If you're talking about Freak Fortress, they had to be limited on FF2 due to the bosses being all over the place with the balance. Some maps it was quite literally impossible for some freak fortress bosses to kill engineers when they all teamed up

All VSH hales have weigh down that can force themselves to the ground, and in addition all hales have rages that can allow them to kill sentries with ease (Hale/HHH have large ranges, Vagineer has knockback protection, Bunny has bombs that reach nests, and CBS has unlimited range arrows). The hales are balanced enough to kill sentries.

Talking about standard VSH. If the change was supposed to be for FF2, regular VSH is balanced enough to avoid that issue. There are no issues with 4 engies on VSH.

He changed the plugin that handles the class restrictions which probably set the default at 2
