I know this might be controversial, but I think we should require both chat logs and in game screenshots for any chat related reports (racism, trans-phobia etc.). This is meant to prevent report spams from happening as seen in the report sections by some people. While I'm saying its not wrong to report, I think just looking in the chat logs for stuff like that causes more spam than solving problems. I'm open to any suggestions though.

This just adds an unnecessary step for reports. If someone breaks the server rules, we shouldnt be making it harder for someone to make a report just for arbitrary reasons.

Yes, I agree its adds an unnecessary step for reports. But mind you, this is meant to prevent people from reporting not in game since it spams the report section more than it should have to.

This admin quote shows how annoying it can get in general:

Can you please stop filtering the chat for slurs and making reports for servers you’re not even playing on? I understand you want to keep the servers clean, but this is borderline spam.

Make a report if you see something happening on the servers. You don’t need to search for rules being broken in your free time.

The easy reports help out certain admins to resolve them and move on, while reports that have .dem files are usually done by admins that are "willing" to watch through them to resolve them.

Mind you the ratio of simply easy reports vs crashing .dem reports shows you the activity of the admins.

I think people should just mind their own business and stick to reporting people they personally witness breaking the rules, not off-hand. It takes priority away from more urgent reports like cheat reports, especially when spammed. There's not really a need to make a rule on it or put extra needless steps into reports, but that behavior shouldn't be encouraged either. I can guarantee adding more needless steps into reports would drive people away from reports rather than make them more efficient.

if this passed node would no longer be able to spam reports by searching up that funny country in africa
Spoiler alert, I'm not searching up the word on the stats page ;) If you look at the time the reports are made and the time the offense happens, they are within a couple minutes.

This point has been brought up multiple times in the past but you know 🤷🏽‍♀️

let me take 3 hours out of my day to report 1 dude for saying the n-word. putting the steam community profile thing in the converter to get the steam3 id is already too fucking annoying

Then how are you finding them? The last report dump you had included the following servers:
  • 2Fort+ | AU
  • Hightower | US
  • 2Fort | EU
  • 2Fort | NY
That's 4 different maps in 4 different geographical locations. I find it hard to believe you're playing all of these maps in the span of an hour lol.

That's a secret 👁️ but the offense time and the post time don't lie
