If a flyengineer is spamming the voice commands to be a dick, we can step in on that.
The thing is.
The flyengineer that started this whole charade was not spamming it, and almost got vote silenced for having it equipped.

I sort of need a straight answer sorry because I sometimes taunt as a flygineer.
Jerma didn't seem to think it was an issue whereas blade_d thinks it is so can I have a final verdict please.
The question is, do you taunt excessively as flygineer to be a dick and piss off other players on the server?
If someone is doing it repeatedly and someone else complains (even if it is just one person), I usually kick them as a warning and then if they continue doing it when they reconnect it would be a punishment. It would be the same as if someone was intel griefing or spamming the pan. Spam of any sort is punishable even if it isn't explicitly stated in the rules.
Honestly, if we are going off what people find annoying, I find the mannrobics annoying but you don't see me vote muting people for it. This entire thing is quite flawed, as its easily skewed. The fly engi is fucking adorable and if you don't like that then you don't like papa dave who d o e s use the fly and its taunts, as do I, as do like another 500 people. Anyway that's just my opinion, just like its your opinion that the fly engi is annoying. I'm sorry for bringing you into this papa dave. Now me posting this is fucking hypocritical, isn't it.

I think micspam is another thing that is apparently against the rules but it doesn’t say in rules list
Update: “Whether music over voice chat is spam will be left to a server vote.”
However admins mute people for it and there is even a mute reason for “micspam”
I know earape micspam is against the rules however I have been muted before for micspamming in general even though it wasn’t a trade server.

The problem with the fly taunt is that in some situations the taunt becomes overwhelmingly loud and overpowers everything else in the server. I know doing the taunt in water causes this, and I'm certain a few other situations trigger this as well. At that point it is treated like the annoying variant of micspam.
The problem with leaving it up to a server vote is that this isn't something you can silence for, which means you have to vote to ban them and that has like a 80% server requirement. Why let 70% of the server be annoyed if we don't have to?
