Declined Remove the @ symbol after tagging members

I've wondered about this for a while and I'm wondering if it's possible to have the @ symbol be automatically removed once the person is tagged and their name is hyperlinked. I know Facebook used to do that, then changed so that once you tag someone, like @Toxik, their name just becomes Toxik
It's definitely not a huge priority change, but I still feel like it would clean up some threads where more than 3 people get mentioned.

So it just gets rid of the @ symbol? That doesn't sound like it would help much, plus people only get one alert when they're tagged in a post anyways so there's no spam.

It's mainly for aesthetics, which is why I said it wasn't a high priority change, but would still be nice

The @ symbol for tagging other users is just a byproduct of XenForo's Forum Software. Best way to get this updated would be to contact support there. Imo it's useful being able to differentiate between a link and a user tag. A lot of other gaming communities supported by XenForo also keep the tagging feature as-shipped.
