Recovery

I went into surgery around 7pm EST on Tuesday and they finished around Midnight. I have been hooked up to a whole bunch of things until this morning when they took the tube out of my mouth and moved the i.v. to my arm from my neck. I am sore and a little out of it. They have told me I can possibly go home Tomorrow as long as I keep up the recovery.

My Dad has come down to help me at home for the next week to make sure that I am good to go. Ready to be up right again and moving. Feels like I have a bowling ball in my chest right now but the pain meds are really really good lol.

Take care and hope to be back soon. This laptop is the only thing keeping me sane atm.

You sure one the doctors hadn't been to the bowling hall just prior to the operation? We all have heard those horror stories about doctors forgetting stuff in patients...

Thanks everyone!!!! No hot nurses they all look like Dave but more manly! They ended up just repairing the left ventricle and cleaning up some other things. I was in better condition than they thought. I have been told I will be able to check out in the morning as long as everything keeps going good. Cant wait to get back home.
