Help Me! Recording Through Console

Not sure what it is but before, I was able to record videos through the console in Team Fortress 2. Now, I can't. I reinstalled Team Fortress 2 and all but it still won't work. Crashes my game as soon as it starts. Any ideas?

If recording demos doesn't work, people use something called P-REC

Will it record normal matches? Like if I'm on a trade server or a CP map? Only two commands I see are for tournament mode and screenshotting.

You should be able to. There's a cfg that goes along with it.
