Question regarding players using achievement hacks

I play almost exclusively on the Dustbowl LA+ server and have noticed quite a few players who have used hacks or cheats to earn achievements to gain weapons. Steam/VAC doesn't pick it up, but it's obvious from the time stamps and playtime on their profiles they are/have use something.

So does Skial ban for this if they are reported?

He is asking is someone who uses a hack to get all the achievements in our server is against the rules. The answer is yes.

Note the bold word.

If they don't hack on our servers then we don't care.
 
Achievement hacks aren't generally done in any server... just using SAM.

Even if they did who cares.

There ARE milestone achievement unlockers that are server plugins. I've seen people doing them and these only unlock the milestone achievements in question. VAC apparently disregards all this

VAC doesn't ban for server plugins, otherwise someone would set up griefing servers just to get people VAC-banned
 
Well in my defence I accidently joined a server, when i first started playing tf2, that said it would give me "weapons" (I thought at the time it was a bot or a guys sending trade requests) so I joined and typed the commands !medic !soldier and it !explode and i got almost all the achievements and achievement weapons :(
