what ever admins do sets a precedent, so if they decide this is griefing that means from this point forward I can report people for shredding card on playstation right, since by your logic its griefing even if the map allows you to do it.

It's behind the motivator you can't get behind them, but again all that coin does is respawn dead players if I get banned for dropping this sets a precedent that destroying the respawn token (whether via dropping it or destroying it on the map) is now bannable and I should report it as such.
 
I think there is an argument to be made for it to be griefing. Since the team uses it to help win, intentionally destroying or making it unavailable makes it harder for the team to win. This is a new situation, so I will ask the other admins to weigh in their thoughts.

Either way, you will not be banned today. Worst case scenario, you get a warning.

It does look hypocritical for a person to report so many people for griefing and then turn around and act like a jerk to their team.

I'll follow up with a post once I speak to the other admins.

would the same thing not apply to the 100% card on dr_playstation, the map lets you shred it if you choose to and it serves the exact same function as the respawn coin on supermarket* and you don't ban for destroying that since it's a "map feature"

No it doesn't, because the shredder was added by the map creator intentionally to allow people do that specific thing. It's an intended feature of the map.

And the coin was designed to respawn you "if" it makes it to the end, and whether intentional or not most of the time it doesn't, it's not a core port of the map it's not necessary to beat the map nor does it prevent any player from finishing the map without it, it's just a nice to have but it's completely not necessary, the minigame will go on with 1 player or 30.

But AFKing and taunting at spawn waiting for it just to do this simply makes you look like a massive cunt, especially when you do it RIGHT AFTER the round where you complained about no respawn because the person carrying the coin died to a trap. To me it's not the fact that you dropped it, it's the fact that you didn't even play the game before doing it. You waited the entire round just to be an asshole for no real reason. Combine this with the fact that you instantly suicide on the minigames of other maps just to wait for people to do minor exploits and report them makes you look like a person that the server would be much better off without.

Maybe just don't do exploits tiny or not if you don't like getting banned. You were already breaking rules now you're just being punished for breaking them where in the past you would have gotten away with it. It's not like any rules have been changed they just actually being enforced since I go out of my way to make sure they atleast get a forum post while i'm dead.
 
I have a demo of him using the small potion to bypass an activated trap in an unintended way, ( on dr_trump_tower) if this isn't considered against the rules. Just because someone reports a lot of people shouldn't mean they're above the rules.

I have a ton of clips of people using the bfb to bypass first two traps on ancient memes and the admins said that's fine so it's probably not that much different.
 
Ok I brought this to the other admins and here is what we’re going to do.

for coin in marketplace: this is considered a form griefing. This is because the respawn helps red team to win and make it to mini game.

For PlayStation: with the 100% card, not griefing since it is part of the map design

@Pot Head Wabbit you get a warning this time, ban if it happens again
