I don't think you have the authority to tell people what they should and shouldn't like.
We know it's a cartoon, some people take it more seriously than others (ie CompassCall) while others just watch it and be done with it (ie Mark, you, I, and everyone else)
Besides, cartoons like that don't appear very often.

Not exactly the reason I particularly dislike the show, but suprisingly close.

4Chan, HF, DeviantArt, and now even some of the non-desu forums and image-board sites are fucking over-run with MLP shit. I wouldn't mind, I mean hell if I feel like going on a desu frenzy, sometimes I just post random shit from animes I've never even watched. However, I simply can not take this much of one thing, especially when I don't understand whats so amusing about it.
