With myself being a raffle host and owner of a gambling group I figure I should get back to Raffling. So as a way to see what the good folks and trolls of Skial want raffled I am opening a poll. There are a lot of choices yes but only for me to get a good look at the variety of intrest people here have. Any other specifics or questions please don't hesitate to leave a comment below.

EDIT: If anyone wants a game raffle then please agree with this post as a way to cast your vote, I forgot to put that in the poll.

I wouldn't care what it is if I had positive expected value joining. But I doubt that'll be the case, chances are that this will only be a desperate try to hide another attempt to get like $1-2 worth of profit on some virtual items. : (

It depends on the item, granted yes I make profit, but there is a set policy depending on the item and where it falls under in terms of category. In order for a raffle host to keep going some profit has to be made, though I prefer to keep it at a reasonable amount.

Example would be raffling a typical Tough Guy's Toque and gaining 1-2 rec profit. From there I buy an Ol' Snaggletooth and raffle that off, gain 1-2 rec profit, buy a Familiar Fez, and so on and so forth.

I feel the same way Rv, too many people try to make a fast buck, I wouldnt be so against buy in raffles if the person raffling used their own site, but they just ride on the backs of others.. sorry for the negative approach towards your idea OP, but i wouldnt call you a raffler, more a profiteer, and to state you own a gambling group o0, its a steam group.. perhaps is you had your own site or even server, my viewpoint would change.

It's perfectly ok. I can understand what you mean. We did have a server at one point...but traffic wasn't too high so we decided to wait until we gained more members. And never thought about our own site to be honest...we do have a forum but the traffic for that is essentially non-existant. For now I just want to build some profit in order to eventually split my main metal to put a bud or two worth into our Group Account.
