What do you think of Pewdiepie? I think he doesn't deserve the popularity he has. He gains so much money from his videos, and his fans are all over him. He's nothing special.
 
Think he gives a fuck? He's laughing all the way to the bank. He caters to his audience and if you're not in it, then don't watch. You don't watch Dora the Explorer if you're not a kid, so don't watch him if it's not what you're into.
 
I don't get people who hate on stuff and argue. That's just reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally boring.
 
I don't like his brand of humor or fan base but I'm not going to hate on anyone for liking him, they don't share my opinion and that's okie-dokie with me.
 
He's horrendously unremarkable and almost no different from most YT commentators. My problem isn't with him as much as his fans who think he's the second coming.
 
He's pretty fun at times. Your friend is an idiot for arguing with all the 12 year olds who troll on Youtube comments.

It's kinda rare now though to find a new decent video to watch of his imo.

I think when he started playing Happy Wheels was when it all kinda died.
 
I don't care for him either but his youtube channel is successful because there are people out there who like his videos. Just because you or I don't like his videos doesn't mean he sucks or doesn't deserve what he earned. To each his own

And lets face it, your friend posted one massive troll remark. That isn't mature criticism, that's just blatant trolling which is of course going to attract negative attention.

He's one of those lucky ones that won the "Youtube lottery" as I call it. I honestly don't blame the jealousy from other youtubers that actually put real time and effort into their videos. He's the new Fred, he'll eventually lose popularity after a couple of years, because hey, we all have to grow up sometime.
