PC: Bill's Hat with Sinister Staining Spell

So, I just traded for this Bill's, and it says on the hat that it has a painting spell applied to it. Is it going to expire if I load up the game? (The tf2wiki says that spells that were preserved after 11/9/12 and then applied to items don't expire.) And if not, how much is it worth?

It shouldnt expire so you're good. The is the part I'm not sure about is the price your best bet is to just put up a trade on outpost and letting the offers roll in(this is going to probably take awhile) and I'd aim for 15 key max 10 keys min. Also what color is sinister? :S

It's like Drably Olive, but lighter.
 
Thanks guys, I appreciate it.

I've ran the game with it, it hasn't expired, and, while the color isn't amazing, it's a cool effect that keeps getting noticed. I'd rather have the keys, and was just looking to see what, if any, extra value I could get out of it.
 
Yea too bad the color doesnt look that good but you should be able to get 12 keys for it
