It's a rather epic show, with a fair amount of "Chemical-Japan" if you know what I'm saying.
I know what you be talking about, they pulled the same shit with Elfen Lied. Then I read the manga, and when it got to the part where the Anime ended, it veered off in a completely different direction. And I was all like;My japanese is almost nonexistant unless heard vocally lol... but thanks... i think lol
also i did like this show, although i was kinda upset that it was more of a "plug the manga" type of thing with no true ending, but great show nonetheless
Seriously, it was completely different, and it made me sad. I think Mamoru was just pissed off at Okamoto when he made the anime's ending so different from the manga. But what was essentially supposed to be a giant "Fuck You" ended up being the vastly superior ending in my oppinion.I know what you be talking about, they pulled the same shit with Elfen Lied. I didn't get all the way through FMA cuz i started watching it when i had to rent the dvds (before it was readily available online) and lost my episode number when they didn't have the next dvdWasn't Fullmetal Alchemist the same way? It started to follow the manga up until midway where it almost completely veered off somewhere? Brotherhood tried to fix that if I recall correctly.
