so this "no crits", does it include boosts and guaranteed crits, or is it just talking about random crits? what about mini-crits, them too?

Just random crits. Mini-crits aren't random, they have to be activated by for example Jarate.

I'm not sure if there will be negative consequences on custom maps for doing this.

I will give it a try.
