While that does hold merit, I just find the idea, atmosphere, and art so far to be lackluster. I love both the things I mentioned, as I said, I just don't like the combination. Maybe I will. I dunno yet.

Yes, it is. I generally dislike censorship even if I'm not into what they're censoring. It takes away from the experience IMO.
I'm not surprised NoA is doing it with the whole values dissonance between Japan and the U.S. over head petting, and I can also see where the fans are coming from since this is something of a slippery slope of censorship. After all, if they can remove one small feature then it's not unthinkable to see them removing a little more in subsequent games. Censorship of art is always controversial.
I agree that censorship of any sort is bad but NoA is notorious when it comes to censorship so I'm not surprised and neither should everyone else. Unless something big happens that Nintendo actually notices they will keep censoring as they please. It looks neato but I do hope they avoid getting worse with censorship in the future.
As long as we are on the topic of Fates, I'd like to say that each path really isn't the complete game. You only get the full experience with all 3 versions in my opinion, which may be biased, but it still rings true for a lot of the people who have it already. It's not like pokemon at all, with a few changes here and there, its a whole different game and it's worth it to get all 3. I've only finished Nohr to date (Nearly 2 times, mind you) but I know the rest of the game as I read it and watched it before getting the game.
But at least no matter what version you get, you will get to hear a rendition of an awesome song at the end of any of the paths (mind you in english), so it's cool. They got different lyrics for each version, all named under one song "Hitori Omou" meaning "One's Thoughts".

Paper Jam's bosses range from "that was fun" to "holy shit how am I even supposed to dodge that"
They've all been pretty easy to me. Which ones are you having trouble with?
Paper Petey's 3D attack fucked me up a lot but I beat him first time. Wiggler I had to reset because Kamak revived him twice before I had the chance to attack. But as soon as I get the counter attacks down it gets a lot easier.
I can see people struggling with those fights since their most dangerous attacks are also their longest. The only fight that's come close to killing me so far is the one with Ludwig and Larry since by the time I figured out their attacks, they already had more than enough SP to use a lot of annoying battle cards on me like disabling attack types, lowering stats, having 0 damage shields, and unavoidable fixed damage.
