Taxman has managed to get his Retro Engine running on (New) 3DS homebrew. Below pics are (what I assume) the TaxStealth remasters of Sonic 1 and 2, as well as Taxman's Sonic CD remake, running on the New 3DS. He says some more work needs to be done for the stereoscopic 3D effect to work though.

the snes emulator on my 3ds won't run games like kirby, zelda, and star fox without crashing.

kirby and starfox don't launch at all, and i cannot get passed the file select on zelda
 
I've just stuck to dusting off my old consoles and games over the years. Emulators are a waste of time for me because of how buggy and laggy they are if you don't go the extra mile to optimize them. It takes less work for me to just take care of my old games versus trying to make one work on a program made and updated by a handful of guys in their free time.

They are very badly optimized, any pc should be able to run these old af games without issue. I've only been actively playing Sunshine on dolphin because I haven't had a Gamecube in years.

if you wanna play anything other than super mario world, you're wasting your time
everything else has issues. super metroid drops to like 20 fps in certain areas, has sound issues, and there's a room that you cant enter without the game crashing. ITS NOT FUCKING FUN FIGHTING RIDLEY WITH A SHITTY FRAME RATE

Earthbound works just fine.
 
It's been almost 3 months since Rhythm Heaven: The Best Plus came out and still no word on a western release. I'm scared.

Literally everyone is using that pause exploit on the yellow devil challenge.
