Apex has been a roller coaster of emotions this year. For the uninformed;
  • PM, a beloved mod, was cut
  • Nintendo sponsors APEX
  • Alex Strife (Lead tournament organizer for APEX) found to be a pedo & sexual harasser
  • APEX is now the biggest Melee & Sm4sh tournament, first Melee tournament to ever hit the cap for entrants
  • Nintendo reveals they are giving APEX Wii Us and adapters
  • Multiple players' flights cancelled due to weather
  • Multiple players cancelling due to health
  • And now the entire event is cancelled, and apparently the wii U tournament will continue with the 3DS version.

I would love the characters in Valkyria Chronicles more if the heroes didn't make a bunch of monumentally stupid decisions.

Those aren't "monumentally stupid decisions", those are "story-driven, surprising outcomes of unexpected drama that give more depth to the story" ;P

I had General Damon in mind when I made my last post. I wouldn't call bringing a fully conscious Valkyria into your office just to gloat a dramatic plot point. General Damon was just being a moron and forgetting that he's dealing with someone that can make explosions with her mind (which Selvaria promptly does in that case).

I'm so fucking mad because it was literally an hour away from me but now it's not even happening.
 
God there is always something to complain about isn't there? Every damn MM3d video I am on there are people saying Nintendo ruined the "dark atmosphere". They didn't and those people need to take off their nostalgia glasses.

Also any thoughts on the Nintendo Creators Program? Taking up to 40% profit from Lets plays? I think Nintendo just hurt its own popularity with this, because the simple showing of a Nintendo game should be advertising enough for that company.

Do you think the program does have any advantages for Let's players?

I don't think it has any advantages for anybody but Nintendo. I don't support it but I'm not going to bitch about it like most people have been, I do see where the youtubers are coming from with being upset.
