It's fun at times but I don't really enjoy it all that much.

OK, I finally got around to making a new NNID, since I forgot the password to my old one and I don't use the email address I put in with it. NNID is SirCakez, I sent adds to Sroy, Sboles and Shoe. Also, I'm using a fucking stock Mii because I haven't gotten around to making a cool new one yet.

Do you guys use any custom controls for smash? I use X for grab (gcc, Y for grab on classic/3ds) and I'm thinking of setting my cstick to "attack" instead of smash
Decided against it. Didn't really add anything, you can't reverse with it and it made it harder to smash out of wavedash
Oh and I turn tap jump off

no, I've been playing smash for a long time, and for a long time I didn't know you could create custom controls, I've already coped with what I had.
but recently I did adapt to pressing x to jump.
I just have Tap-Jump turned off. Might change my grab on Brawl to Y because my old Gamecube controller and classic controller aren't super responsive.

In brawl/ used to be in 4, if you were running and you hit up on the cstick, you could do an upsmash. If you were running and hit down, forward, or back, youd just do a dash attack. The usefulness depends on character, but its sad to see it gone.
