I completely agree. Where did this even come from? I could see marshall, but chorus men?

He isn't a chorus man though. They just have similar designs. The whole chorusmen gimmick was that it was like ice climbers, but with 3.That moment when you realize Marshall from RHF is actually chorus man without a bow-tie.
The gematsu leaker is thought to be someone who worked on the trailers, which is why he was right about shulk, just not at the right time. He only screwed up on chorus men (DLC trailer, possible confusion with marshal) and chrom (The trailer literally says "You'll get your chance today")
There's nothing to confirm nor deny this. I was just being creative with the fact that they look similar. It's just more fun to think about these things unconventionally.
I mean.. he isn't? The chorusmen are there own thing, marshall is the mascot. Maybe the chorusmen were like a beta-marshall, but marshall=!chorusmen
The point I was getting at in my previous post is that with theories like this, there's no way to confirm or deny them outright without evidence. Marshall could be unrelated to the chorus men entirely or he could be the same creature/race as the chorus men or he could be one of the chorus men who simply retired from singing and decided to teach people the wonder of rhythm. There's multiple ways to go about interpreting his similar appearance to the chorus men due to the lack information surrounding the topic. Simply saying Marshall is the RHF mascot doesn't really deny his association with them since it's possible for him to be a mascot while also being a former chorus man. Again, this is left up to personal interpretation due to the lack of evidence, so neither of us is truly right or wrong but rather we just have different interpretations of the same thing.
I have no idea why you brought this up then. I just said it was possible the leaker confused marshall with chorusmen.
Probably because I only slept for 1hr last night. I think of weird things when I'm tired. Segueing back on topic, as far as DLC characters go I'd rather like to have more newcomers from the more unrecognized titles like Shantae or Shovel Knight rather than just have the same characters from previous titles such as Wolf or Ice Climbers. In fact I'm tempted to say that I may not even bother with buying the DLC if its just characters I've played as before unless they totally revamp their move-sets.
I was playing against this guy in floor gory today who was just above my skill level, our first match was a ZSS mirror and we use the same color (White Suit). He mains Sheik and ZSS.
This eventually lead to 1 hour of consecutive matches. I won about 8 he won about 12/13.
We had a lot of fun and funny matches (One where I suicide spiked him with ZSS and I had 1 stock lezs than him so he won, and multiple where I hit all my KO punches.) but one of the best ones was little Mac VS Ganondorf.
Our first stock I was winning and overextended to the ledge, so he side specialed and it dropped us both right off the stage.
Our second stock I was beating him, then he turned it around with a warlock punch since I forgot about super armor but I hung in there. Then, he charged up another warlock punch but as I was falling I countered JUST in time and the counter killed him. Doesnt sound like anything special, but I had a good time with that guy.

Your opinion doesnt mean anything because you dont play fire emblem. If you knew Chrom and Ike as characters you would PROBABLY agree. Marth is the least cool tho.
