I said Mewtwo was bad in smash 4

Kyle said he was good, and then decided to use a very biased video from a completely different game. The guy playing Mewtwo is known as Mewtwoking, and he's the best Melee player. He doesn't play Mewtwo though, the video Kyle posted was just him fucking around.

I consider him bad for different reasons than why he's bad in Melee. His Melee incarnation is probably better, because of l canceling and his long ass wave dash. I think Mewtwo is bad in smash 4 because he isn't satisfying to play at all. He's very floaty and slow, and can't move well in the air horizontally. His moves are all very slow and do fuck all damage, while lacking good kill moves (fresh uthrow kills at 120% with no DI). Playing Mewtwo feels like doing chip damage until you either land a dair or you gimp them.

Mew2King also has beat many people using Pichu; Does this mean Pichu is good too? No, it means Mew2King is good. "His floatiness can mess with peoples heads" doesn't mean anything, Kyle just talked out of his ass and then posted the first link he saw to back his point up.

I like him a lot in Smash Wii U. I thought he would be shit like in Melee but that was honestly probably just my hatred for wave dashing. But still give it some time, you will start seeing some really good Mewtwo's in random videos and comp matches.

Hax$ is also one of the best melee players in the world and he still lost using a high tier character. My point is if anyone can win in tournament level with a character (even if this wasn't an actual tournament) then they aren't bad. Pichu is bad, Mewtwo is just frustrating to use. There is a difference.

No, mewtwo isn't just low because he's "frustrating to use", he's a bad character (Since you compared him to pichu, I'm assuming we're talking Melee Mewtwo). Do you want to know who the best M2 player is? Taj, look him up. He mains the guy and hasn't gotten good results. Mewtwo is floaty, has no approach options, no air speed, and is really fucking big. He's combo food with a bad neutral. At least a Bowser player won a Xanadu weekly once.

If Mewtwoking was able to consistently beat Hax with M2, then why doesn't he enter tournaments as Mewtwo? Because Mewtwo is bad, and he was just fucking around with Hax once.

When you only factor the best players in major tournaments obviously Mewtwo will fall short since every frame and stat matters but that doesn't fit the majority of the community. There's a reason Mewtwo mains have won in local tournies for Melee and PM where I live. The problem here is that your definition of bad is "if the best of the best can't win with him then it's bad" when you're not even in that niche to begin with none of us are. A bad character in my definition is one that is virtually unplayable on any tournament level not just with the best players in the world.

You're the one who brought up competitive smash anyhow, I said mewtwo was bad in smash 4 and you then bolstered that he has mind games and linked me to a Melee video.

Local tournaments aren't a good measurement of skill, as it is a more casual experience. I got 7th at my 3rd tourney, am I just some kind of upcoming smash god? No, I got a lucky bracket full of people who kept teching towards me into my top. A roy has gotten 3rd at Xanadu, and a bowser won Xanadu a few weeks ago. These are results you'd never see at a bigger tourney, because "The best of the best" attend big tournaments, they're people who actually care and invest time into the game. There are no "virtually unplayable" characters in melee, but there are definitely bad characters. Just because you decided that bad=unusable doesn't mean you're right. Mewtwo is a bad character, and he doesn't have "floaty mind games" or what ever non-explanation you're trying to give.

Srsly though Mewtwo is the only character I've been playing all day, I didn't think he would be that fun but I just can't stop playing him.
