Saw some ridiculous corner shots where he prefired, and not at a spot where shadows are viable. Watched him for a while but i'm not the best with recognizing esp without wireframes, was hoping to get an expert to take a look at this:

I didn't see anything damning with r_drawothermodels 2 (which, for future reference, is how you can look at demos with wireframes). It was only after a few seconds of pills whizzing by on the right side of his screen that he seems to decide where the demo must be, and when he takes that cautious shot into the underground doorway afterwords, no one's coming through that way.
