I feel like them releasing at similar dates to the big games, such as BF4 and CoD, was very advantageous.
However, they put out shit. Again, in Microsoft's case (Sony's track record of not-complete-shit is minimal with their CONSOLE releases, IMO).
I doubt I'll get either. Having a good PC is just... Better than all that other shit. I have a PS3 from the release of MGS4, which I hope will still get good games for a while and isn't buried too quickly.

I got a feeling they probably skipped out on some quality control and / or testing to get it out the door for the holidays
Personally if I had the money I'd get a decent computer and a PS4. I always prefer PC gaming but there are some nice PS4 exclusive titles I'd like to try
